Mahoning County Junior Fair

The  JIM BAER SCHOLARSHIP

 

The Jim Baer Scholarship was founded in memory of Jim Baer through the Market Livestock Committee.  Jim Baer donated his time and efforts as the auctioneer of the Mahoning County Junior Fair Livestock Sale.  He dedicated his efforts to making the auction best that he could for the youth in Mahoning County. 

 

This scholarship is based both on financial need and 

academics.  The  recipient of this scholarship may not be the best academic scholar,  but  he/she must have participated in the Market Livestock Sale.
